Nesco Resource is helping an established client in the Rochester area find an experienced manufacturingProduction Team Leader. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity. The Production Team Leader is responsible for assisting and training associates in the safe and efficient operation of production equipment and completion of other tasks to produce quality products. The duties of this role include, but are not limited to: Perform assigned duties in an efficient and safe manner. Perform assigned duties in a manner to produce a quality product Stock shelves and work area with components and dunnage, as required. Participate and provide assistance in equipment change-over Work with teammates to improve operational performance Complete appropriate documentation on a daily basis Operate machinery in a safe and efficient manner Notify HR and Operations Manager of any safety concerns Quality awareness, product, and process Assist in the training of associates in the tasks, noted above. Participate in Quality, Safety, and Continuous Improvement activities Provide leadership Authorities: To interrupt production due to a safety or quality issue and immediately report it to your supervisor Direct and train other associates in day-to-day tasks Act as the shift leader in the absence of the production supervisor Subordination: Reports to Production Supervisor Required Skills: Good attendance record Proven basic math skills Basic computer skills necessary, MS Office is a plus Able to effectively communicate to all levels of colleagues Fully trained to operate and support all lines <span style=”font-family: cal
