Do you mix humour into your writing?

It is said that humour is a great attribute and it can make your studying easier. Having a good laugh has ever done anything negative to anyone. When you are faced with a tone of work or writing that gre waiver letter, you might not find any of it amusing. It is important for us to not take life too seriously. We can spend so much time worrying about the past and the future, that we miss the present.

Even if you are in the midst of exams, you can still find some time to have fun. Every writer should have a sense of humour. There are often serious tips shared with students, but what if you can spread some joy? It is all about balancing your life. Find some humour in every day. When you look at comedians, a lot of their jokes are based on everyday events. It just depends on how you look at it. Here are some tips to share with your audience about mixing humour and studying.

Laugh at your failures

At first, your mistakes and failures might not seem humorous at all. Instead of drowning in your sorry, just rewrite the waiver letter and laugh at how bad the first one is. We are all a little imperfect and we all fail from time to time. This does not mean that we are constant failures. We are just human. When you finally get something right, just reflect at how terrible the other times were. There is humour in every situation if you look at it the right way.

Tell a joke

In the midst of your studying, tell someone a joke or two. This can be a dad joke, a corny one or an actual good joke. We often times make ourselves laugh by making someone else laugh. Bring a little sunshine into the lives of your family and friends. It will cheer you up as well.

Sing your material

This might not work if you actually can sing, but a bad singer can instantly bring themselves to tears with laughter. Try and sing your study notes and it could bring you some joy and regret at the same time. When you are in the midst of your TOEFL waiver letter request burst out in a song and just laugh. You will retain a lot more information if your brain is in a state of happiness.

Enjoy being foolish

We are often told that studying is serious business and not a joke. In hindsight, it really is not that serious. In fact, we can be foolish in our everyday lives and then try to be serious when it comes to studying. Perhaps, if you remove that notion from your mind, you can actually retain some information. Don’t allow society to dictate the way you approach situations. If you want to be foolish and laugh at yourself while studying, so be it.

Make up a dance

Who doesn’t like to have a good dancing session while studying? You can get your physical fitness up and learn at the same time. This is definitely one of those double whammies. Don’t underestimate the process of writing a waiver letter and trying to break dance. It’s more fun than you think. Students need to calm down and just take each day as it comes. Today’s students are overworked and stress out. There is no need for that. Instead, flip the switch and have some fun while thriving in school.

Human beings should be laughing at least once a day. In these days, we seem to be more stressed out. As a writer, you have the ability to turn that around. Don’t be too serious or your audience will feed off your emotions. Instead, share some joy in your writing, while still communicating helpful information. You might even find your own writing hilarious or break out in a dance. Life is to be enjoyed and not stressed over. The stereotype of a stressed-out student needs to change. There are so many new students joining the school and we need to do better. Your pen is a powerful tool. Use it wisely.
