Salary: $110,000 – $140,000 per year A bit about us: Our Tax Managers are essentially partners-in-training and are involved in almost all areas for which partners are responsible. They exhibit technical proficiency and the ability to supervise and complete engagements, possess a thorough knowledge of the Firm’s policies and procedures, and serve as intermediaries between partners, clients and associates. Responsibilities include planning, executing, directing, and completing tax projects in a wide variety of industries. Participates actively in client meetings and tax planning efforts to assist the Auditing and Accounting Department with larger, multi-disciplinary clients. Job Details Responsibilities: Interact closely with clients to provide innovative individual and business tax planning, consulting, and compliance services in a timely and effective manner Ensure complete client satisfaction through open communication, managing deadlines and proactively sharing tax savings strategies Provide proper representation with taxing authorities for clients under federal or state examination. Possess strong writing skills for responding to problem resolutions for tax notices Work closely with Partners, Directors, Senior Managers and staff on client management, professional development and business development activities Qualifications: Bachelors or Masters degree in Accounting required Masters
