JOB SUMMARY: The IT Support Specialist is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and support (both hardware and software) for End User Devices, including desktops, laptops, printers, Toughbooks, tablets, phones and other end user and mobile devices. This includes diagnosing and repairing Windows 10 operating system issues, hardware issues, mobility and connectivity issues. These systems are installed, maintained and repaired in accordance with established standards, service levels and operational processes. Additionally, this position provides project support for technology initiatives. JOB REQUIREMENTS Two-year degree (college/technical/vocational) or equivalent hands-on experience in computer systems or information technology is required. Must be able to effectively provide support remotely, utilizing remote support tools, such as Remote Assistance, Remote Desktop, Skype, LogMeIn, Bomgar, etc. Understanding of local area networks in a VoIP environment is required. Understanding of cyber security issues with the ability to respond to alerts and escalations in a timely manner Knowledge of and ability to troubleshoot and repair PC hardware, operating systems, and associated peripheral and software components. Must have in-depth knowledge of Windows 10 with the ability to diagnose and resolve Windows 10 operating system problems. Must be proficient in Office 365 Ability to work independently, self-starter with good time management skills. Must have good verbal and written communications skills. Ability to lift 50 lbs, as well as climb in and maneuver in small and large company vehicles JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for interfacing with customers to schedule work and ensure that customer expectations are met upon completion of work.
